As you may be aware, the software we are using to host the Polytheism Without Borders forum requires the selection of a binary gender setting on registration. We are aware that this does not meet all our members needs and have been working to correct the issue. Here is the status to date:
1. The registration page itself is outside of the control of the forum admin. Upgrading to a premium option won't help. I have made a request for this feature with ProBoard support and it is a known issue and an existing enhancement request.
2. No public page in the forum displays the gender information. I've edited the code to remove all reference to it. So once you register, that data is not visible to others on the forum (at least not that I can find sifting through the code).
What you can do to help:
Go to the following link and indicate your need for an improved or removed gender option. The thread has been marked as an enhancement request and ProBoards Admin have already posted on the thread. The more of us that mention it as being needed, the more likely they are to correct the problem soon:
