Since many of us are involved in collaborative creative writing/art projects in honor of the Gods, I figured a thread in which we could post the calls for submissions would be a good idea. Deadlines for a few Bibliotheca Alexandrina anthologies are coming up in the next few weeks and months. neosalexandria.org/bibliotheca-alexandrina/calls-for-submissions/By Blood, Bone and Blade: A Tribute to the Morrigan (15 October); an untitled Charon devotional (1 December); Seasons of Grace: An Anthology in Honor of the Muses, the Horae, and the Charites (1 January 2014); The Queen of the Sky Who Rules Over All the Gods: A Devotional Anthology in Honor of Bast (30 January 2014). Anyone else?

aclockworkireland: Hheee. I should also add that Larisa Hunter would like to put together a collection a fairy tales/morality plays geared towards Heathen children. No formal call for submissions and so set deadline, so email her with queries. She can be reached at larisa@thunter.ca.

@jack: I may not be a devotee of the Latvian pantheon, but I love learning and writing about Deities. If you do start such a project, I would be happy to contribute. Frankly, there is not much in English on any of the Baltic pantheons, so the work would be a welcome addition to my library (and I'm sure others feel the same).

I fired off another one to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina anthologies thanks again Lyradora. When you say a collection of fairy tails geared towards children is Larisa looking for someone to donate collected fairy tales suitable for little kids? Or is she looking to indoctrinate kids into paganism through creative prose?

@alockworkireland: I think Larisa is looking for fairy tales and folktales which exemplify Heathen values. I imagine the target audience will be Heathen/Pagan children and families. She's pretty quick to respond to emails.

From what I've read, Galina is putting together an anthology for Charon.
