What scares you? What things have scared you?
For me, when I was in Ms, I have no idea what was going on, but I kept seeing big ole spirit mountain lions and other things outside of my house. Apparently to someone that meant change was coming. I also saw someone with an eyepatch(male) which I got terrified of. I don't know why, and I confess, but the thought of it being Odin made me want to run to my bed and hide under the covers. I don't get that fear from Yahweh(I respect him) or any other Deity that I can think of. That surprised me.
I'll have to think of other scary woo instances.

Odin is a bit of an intimidating deity, I've got to say. I think most of them can be when see as they truly are - terrifying in terms of sheer scale and majesty - but I suspect everyone has some they find more terrifying than others.
Myself? I've been honestly scared when things are affecting my senses and making me doubt my own capability or sanity. Illusions and confusion tend to effect me worst, despite the fact those things are fairly harmless in the grand scheme of things, because it makes things feel so out of control.
That and being woken up by things. I mean, it's kind of hard to deal with waking up and suddenly there are eyes staring down at you.

Hhhmm. Scary woo things .... I've never had a scary experience outside a trance/journey. No ghosts, or cold spots, no weird premonitions, no odd daydreams, nothing. The one truly scary in-journey experience I had was when the eyes on the four-faced herm began to bleed. That was ... freaky.

Things that scare me... Odin, rightly enough, scares the ever loving shit out of me. He is the lion, I am very much the tiny mouse that just got the lion's attention. I came face to face with an Angel once. You know the weeping angels on Dr Who? Ha! They have nothing on a real Angel. No feathery wings, harp and blissful smile, ze meant business. Just looking at hir was terrifying. Speaking of weeping, my statue of Buddha wept, once. That was weird and unsettling. I also had a 12 foot high bear/rhino/tank thing come and poke at my wards around my house one time. It was sniffing about looking for a weak point so it could report back to whomever created it. That pissed me off more than scared me though.

After the main portion of a ritual that involved the underworld, my group realized we didn't properly exit when, as we went to get more wood for the fire, I saw the shadow of a laughing impish spirit in my trad mate's shadow. He proceeded to pester us the rest of the ritual (which was primarily a feast of sorts)and we named him the dancing a--hole. Nastily little one.

I understand that some Heathens consider Holle/Holda/Hulda and Frigg to be the same Deity, so I guess I might have met Frigg. And, even though there is a herm at the starting point of my trance journeys, I have never met Hermes. The twelve foot-high bear/rhino/tank thing sounds scary and kinda ... awesome. Would it be impolite for me to ask if you found out who sent it?

I'd have sent a mosquito if I wanted to have a look at someone's wards. I didn't bother looking for the owner, though there were a bunch of house-sharing late teen/early twenties kids that moved in a few days before up the street who my hubby got a bad vibe about (I never met them) who I suspect were the point of origin for the bear thing. It was just so... pixelated up close, if that makes sense? Points for effort, no points for execution

The fact that a bunch of teens/twenty-somethings just moved into your neighborhood meshes with my recent observations. It may just be the time of year, but there has been a definite up-tick in people (especially that age group) buying tarot decks, ouija boards, spell books, and other general New Age items at the bookstore. And I have acquaintances around the country who have noticed an increase in the number of attendees at blots, sabbats, and so forth over the last couple of years. So ... something is in the air ...?

When I was younger, and continuing up through recent years, I would see shadow people. Shades, if you prefer. Most of them seemed threatening, one seemed surprised I noticed it. The first one I ever saw crabwalked above my bed, though the others seemed content with looming and peering.
Maybe because of that, or because of the surge of paranormal horror movies we've been having, it makes it difficult for me not to make a run for it when I feel spirit activity coming. I know comparing ancestors and spirits to that load of garbage is like comparing erotica to the real thing with another person, but the fears that I've been taught persist and it's something I'm having to try to work through.
Amusingly enough, I feel called by Hecate. The gods have a sense of humor.

Indeed they do. I've not had much by the way of experiences with Hecate that I'd consider scary...walking back from the crossroads and watching very active lightning storms rolling in towards each other but not quite meeting just along the path I was walking could have been scary but oddly wasn't.
Land spirits angry that you're leaving their land when they haven't seemed overly friendly to begin with...that was scary. The really tall, fast moving vaguely tree-like entity among said spirits was especially worrisome, it didn't do any harm though.
