I just learned about this blog challenge and would like to use it to kick-start my blog of musings from a devotional polytheist's perspective. Maybe others here have already done this, or would like to try? Not sure yet when I will start, and cannot write everyday so my days will likely not be consecutive, but I hope to start soon. I'm not a blogger, but I like that this exists and that people are doing it. If anyone else on the forum is doing it, I'd love if people would post the links to individual posts here so the rest of us can learn.  |

I heard about that too. I'd be interested in doing one for Sobek, but I think I'd write up all my answers first, and then post them day by day, just so I can get the research done properly. Not a bad summer project to tackle over the coming months.

I love the idea of people posting their responses here! For those who want to participate, we can also feature their posts on the Polytheism Without Borders blog (which is reprints of great stuff from other polytheists). If you don't have a blog, you can submit your responses for the PWB blog (you keep your copyright and I'll include any links you want).

I think the 30 Days of Devotions is a great way to journal one's way through knowing a deity. Writing for a possible audience might also help me think and write more deeply about the deity, instead of just throwing it up on the internet. :3

I have had some pretty heavy personal stuff come up lately so I have not begun my blog entries yet. Don't know now when I will, but I would still like to participate in this at some point.

I think I may take a crack at this myself, starting with Hekate! I've been wanting to sit down and do some hard core research on the Theoi, as well as a few gods from other pantheons that I'm interested in learning about (Brigid is one). I'm a bit restricted at the moment in terms of posting since my main computer is offline, but I think I'll try to get this started relatively soon!

I just created a blog for the express purpose of doing this for Frijjo Birkijoniz. FB let me know pretty well that it would be pleasing to her for me to do this. She doesn't make all that many requests, so I guess I will be blogging for her now. I may also put up some more general stuff about siduz and Proto-Germanic polytheism as it comes up. I generally suck at this sort of thing, so hopefully this doesn't turn into some kind of epic fail. So my world has been super fucking crazy the last few weeks. We had an unexpected death in my wife's family, combined with the normal insanity of the season. I just got the second installment of my posts on FB up on the blog, and have several more prepared in outline. The store I worked at closed its doors forever on Christmas Eve, so i should have a bit more time to make regular posts. Hopefully someone will find them of interest.

Lomaz, sorry to hear of your hardships. My family has had a rough holiday season too, also with job loss and death. Here's to a better year in 2014!
