Hi there - I'm Liadine, a 25 year old freelance writer and currently living in London. I've been some variety of pagan since I was 13, but I settled down in my current beliefs about five years ago. In short form I'd describe myself as a hard polytheist religious witch, although I guess I'm technically over in the eclectic pagan side of the tent. I've been a follower of Brighid and a horned god (as far as I can tell his name has been lost to history) for about a decade, and have recently transitioned from working with/worshiping Persephone to describing myself as her follower. (This has sort of catapulted me into learning about other Hellenic gods, so we'll see what happens now.)
I'm definitely not on a reconstructionist path, but I love reading and research, so my practice (particularly involving Persephone) reflects a more academic approach. At the moment my main points of focus are working out my daily practice, forming a more coherent religious whole from my various inclinations, and continuing to do a lot of research on Hellenic gods and their worship. I'm also trying to decide if I need to look into forming/adopting a calendar - I celebrate most of the points on the wheel of the year, but I do that as a general this-is-good-for-me practice rather one dedicated to my deities, and what I really want is both a celebratory calendar (which I have) and a religious one (which I don't).
I think that's it for my basic religious background. I'm also queer, kind of a lunatic, a poet, and a geek.

Hi, my handle is basicmanfitz but you can call me Fitz. I hail from upstate New York, and have identified as a Pagan for the past year and a half. Like most Pagans I've met, I was introduced to Wicca (Alexandrian), but I quickly found that while I liked the folk magic and energy work, the theology didn't fit me. Particularily, the idea that "all God/esses are aspects of the great God/ess" feels unfair to the individual dieties. Although, I agree with Heliocoptero above with the idea that some godforms are the same. I am not dedicated to anyone, but have focused my practice around Brighid (who I identify with and would like to meet) and Freyja (who has sought me out and asked that I start a relationship with). My practice is very new and I'm looking to learn about ways of connecting with the Gods and honoring them. As to what I can offer, I have begun making prayer beads and would someday like to make them for others (I'm not there yet). More practically, I am a professional Software Engineer and an experienced Linux user, so I may be able to help diagnose computer problems.

Hello, my name is Monica and I'm a 30 y/o polytheist living with my husband and pets in western Pennsylvania. I'm an average layperson whose devotional work is primarily tied to mundane, everyday stuff like my job, housework, gardening, and quilting. I also attend a UU church and do some community-based service with my congregation.
I used to belong to a couple of online pagan forums, but I drifted away a few years ago- mostly because I didn't have much to say anymore, I was just quietly doing my thing. Still not sure I have much to say, but I'd like to hang around the edges of this community to hear what others are doing and occasionally jump in if I have something to share. Not sure what I need or have to offer this community yet, I guess I'll have to get to know you all a bit better and find out.
I've been a devotee of Astarte for about 10 years and have identified as a Canaanite polytheist for the past 9 years. I also honor my ancestors and beloved dead, the land spirits, and I'm trying to get a feel for the local gods to properly worship them. I'm about as dense as a brick when it comes to deity/spirit communication though so it takes me a long time and a lot of guesswork. Anyway, that's me. It's a pleasure to be here!

Oh how nice that your congregation has a CUUPs chapter, Fitz. Sounds like you are very involved in your church, how long have you been a UU? Which district are you in?
I'm in the Ohio-Meadville district and have only been a member for about a year. My congregation is largely humanist, but I've always felt very welcome and accepted as a polytheist. I'm a transplant (originally from the Philly region) to a small town where people are nice enough, but very insular and not accustomed to much religious diversity so my UU congregation is a breath of fresh air in comparison.

My name is Harrison, and I'm a Norse Polytheist. I've been Pagan and religiously seeking, in some form, since I was approximately 16. I studied Wicca, eclectic Paganism, Taoism, and Buddhism. I found the Norse pantheon about three or four years ago, and I have been stumbling through the Heathen world ever since. I maintain a blog ( Kvasir Amongst the Gods), where I talk about just about anything that I'm thinking of regarding the various Norse spectrum faiths, and I've been trying to turn this writing into a career. I'm a happily married husband, and a father of two wonderful girls(6 years and a new born). I live in South Eastern Pennsylvania. Uh...hi!

Hi! I'm Sihathor. I'm a 26 year-old Kemetic I live in Central New Jersey on the Shore. I've been a Kemetic for six years and a polytheist for seven. As the name might hint at, I'm a devotee of Hathor, and worship other Netjeru as well like Ra and Djehuty. While I am a Kemetic, I also worship the divus Emperor Julian the Philosopher and the god Hermes-- and have been trying to figure things out in those areas. (I expected neither, least of all Julian, but life is like that, isn't it? I didn't expect Hathor, either!) I guess, like Helio, whose religious background is predominantly Roman, I could say mine is predominantly Egyptian, though I feel like I may be taking a slight Greco-Egyptian turn as of late. Really Egypto-Greek (more Egyptian than Greek).
I'm currently a college student studying medical coding. I also blog (like a fair number of us do). I also help moderate a pagan subreddit at Reddit called /r/pagans. Other than that, I like to draw, write, read about lots of things (not always related to ancient history/religion), and cook.

Ah! I should have started with this, but better late than never ... ....Hermes and Mercury come across as the same Power... Better leite than neve? (A bilingual pun I saw somewhere) As for Hermes and Mercury, when I started making offerings at the wall sculpture portraying the god in the train station, I tried to use both names. But I found myself unable and solely used the name Hermes, while the sculpture itself is called "Mercury Man". So I feel relieved that I'm not entirely crazy.

Greetings...
My name is Aridela (though oftentimes I simply go by AriadneInExile on forums and such -- same name as the blog I maintain). I'm in my early 30's and have lived in the Phoenix, Arizona area my whole life. I am devoted to Dionysos and Ariadne. I'm drawn to ecstatic ritual, shamanism, and mysticism, and passionate about herbalism, music and dancing. My husband/soul-mate passed away very suddenly 4 1/2 months ago. It's still difficult not to frame myself in that grief and loss, because it has changed so much in so little time, and I'm sure it will continue to define my spiritual life as well. I'm somewhere between being a wreck and positively foreseeing a path that includes my beloved as a spirit ally and presence in my life. It's a work in progress. I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. Thank you, Teka Lynn.

Hi, I'm Keith. I'm a lazy reconstructionist when it comes to Hellenic polytheism. Even though I've been worshiping my Gods for almost ten years now in the Hellenic manner, the nit-picky details (dress, ritual cleanliness, etc.) have only begun to fall into place relatively recently. Hermes and Hekate receive the lion's share of my worship (Apollon is a close second) but I'm trying to plan personal festivals aimed at the Olympians as a collective. Oh, and I just relocated to South Carolina from Pennsylvania in the hopes of making art dedicated to the Theoi.

Although I do rely on Norse lore, and am comfortable working within a Norse framework in group settings, my own practice is more focused on migration era and pre-migration era continental cultural context. I use both formal proto-germanic and informal idiosyncratic names when honoring my gods. I primarily devote myself to Frijjo Birkijoniz (Fri Berkja; Norse Frigg[?]). I also offer to Wodanaz (Wodan, Grimm; Norse Odhinn), and Thunaraz (Dunner; Norse Thor) at every blaut. Me: oohh, interesting. I admit to knowing very little about Germanic/Continental polytheism. I know a smidge about Saxon Paganism because I interviewed Robert Sass a few months ago; and I've read a couple of Alaric Albertsson's books, but those are Anglo-Saxon in focus. So, how does Germanic/Continental polytheism differ from Scandinavian heanthry? I take it that Frijjo Birkijoniz, Wodanaz and Thunaraz are considered regional variations on Deities worshipped all over northern Europe(?). Which holidays do you celebrate?

Guess it is time for me to post an intro myself much as I hate writing these things.
My name is Tannim Wolfkin and I am an almost (GASP!!!)50 year old Hard Polytheist and Hard Animist, practicing Shamanist of almost 25 years and Pagan/Heathen for almost 30 years. Devotionally I work with Hern and the Gods of the Northern Tradition, particularly Odin, Loki and his family, Mani,Sunna, Frey, Freyja and various spirits. As to what kinds of things I practice that would take a good page to list but here is the short version. Shamanist, Diviner, Crystomancy, Healer, Warrior, Thingmaker, seiðberenðr in training and quite a bit more. Currently I live in Colorado Springs and would love to meet with folks in the area. Until next time Walk in Peace.

Hello everyone. I am Sarenth Odinsson. I am a Northern Tradition polytheist, and worship a multitude of Gods from many cultures. It is the primarily worldview through which I live my life, but I approach each of the Gods, as well as I can, in Their own ways. I primarily worship Odin and Anubis, but I also offer regular worship to several other Gods and Goddesses, Frigga, Freya, Loki, Anubis, and Bast among Them. I do regular worship and work with my Ancestors. I also work with the landvaettir on a regular basis. I am a hard polytheist who is reconstructionist-derived in my path. This means that I treat the lore and archaeology as a jumping off point and place of reference, and gnosis, in a variety of forms, is given a good deal of weight in my path.
I live in SE Michigan, and I am learning woodcarving and leather-working. Hobbies I enjoy are history, politics, philosophy, writing, video games, and drawing, among others.

Hello everyone! I'm Nymphaea (you can call me Nym for short) and I'm a polytheist in Middle TN. I primarily work with the Theoi, but also have an interest in exploring my hereditary roots in Gaul and the British Isles. I'm an animist, a panentheist, a hard polytheist in that I find the Gods all distinct entities, but lean towards a 'all the universe is made of the Divine' view of the universe and find value in archetypes too. I'm a student in a local tradition of eclectic witchcraft that is a merging of green, hearth and hedge, among other things. Hekate is the main focus of my worship up til now, but I imagine that will be expanding soon. I'm in University and in my early/mid twenties.
