www.streetartutopia.com/?p=10112 I saw this on facebook, and thought this would be a great way to make fairy houses, and devotional things, with my autistic son. I know I'm not the only one who has autistic children and had to share!

Hey, that's really cool!  Sharing! Legos are great for altars and shrines, too. The figures work great as idols for a child's sacred space: they're a good size for little hands, sturdy, and colorful. They are also varied enough to represent different pantheons (e.g., the mermaid figure could be Amphitrite, Salacia, Yemaya, et cetera). |
