Hi all! I'm coming back from a month-long absence that was spurred by a particularily jarring Samhain. After talking about it with a friend, I'm curious to see how members of this community were affected by the recent veil thinning.
For me, I got pulled into a strange metaphysical drama involving two friends of mine who had never met, a dead yet rambunctious toddler, a gentleman who claims to have been murdered a century ago on the streets of London, and The Morrigan. Now that Samhain has gone, things around here are slowly settling back to normal, but the event left me obsessed and crazed.... my spiritual practice fell by the wayside, my relationship with my wife strained, and left me generally underfed and overtired.
Luckily, I'm righting my life again (and will soon be responding to messages on the boards). So back to my question: has the recent thinning of the veil affected you, and if so, how?
